Who: Zelos Wilder, Philia Felice
Where: Outside Daath Cathedral
When: After Tartarus Scene of Doomage
Warnings: None

Zelos walked out of the door to the Daath Cathedral, a slightly irritated expression slapped on top of his otherwise beautiful facial features. Just who did that Grand Maestro think he was? All Zelos had done was request for an aid to accompany him on his trials, but no. The only way he could get his aid was if he went to go look for the missing Fon Master. Did they even know where the Fon Master was?!

That old man always has to complicate things.

Zelos briefly glanced behind him, his previous frown shifting into a sly smile. Obviously, he had agreed to the Maestro’s terms. He would look for the Fon Master, no problem…. But he’d do it when he felt like it. His trials came first, after all. He found his usually spot, and leaned up against it. All Zelos has to do now was wait for his aid to show up.

She was apparently very knowledgeable. “The best possible aid in Daath”, the Maestro had said. Clearly, if anyone could help him do something he had limited information on, she could. It was apparently her idea to look for the Fon Master, too. Leave it to a priestess to freak out about everyone’s favorite little Fon Master. He sighed.

“Why does everything have to happen to the Great Zelos Wilder?”

Philia was unsure of how to comport herself in this situation; after all, it's not like she's never interacted with a man before, but from all of the rumors she's heard about the Great Zelos Wilder she couldn't help but chuckle to herself as how narcissistic he must be in person. She's heard rumors, yes, but she would have to wait until she met him before making any assumptions of his character.

"My apologies for making you wait." She entered the room, and bowed after shutting the door behind her. "You must be Sir Wilder. I am Cantor Philia Felice; I will be accompanying you on your journey." She stated, and smiled as she tilted her head slightly in a cute manner. Folding her hands in front of her, she approached him.

"Aa, I'm afraid that would be disrespectful." Philia blushed a little bit. She was never treated in such a way by someone before, and she wasn't sure how she felt being at the receiving end of such behavior. "In any case, I've just attained my passport, so we can leave at any time. I take it the Grand Maestro has already briefed you on the situation, correct? We must search for the missing Fon Master.

"Aa, right, the Trials of the Dark Aurora." Philia nodded. "I will assist you on your quest as well; Grand Maestro Mohs was very specific about what he wanted me to accompany you for." She explained. She had done her research beforehand, and while she rarely left Daath, she studied geography and was well familiar with Auldrant.

"I have a slight clue as to where we may find a lead for the first Sword Dancer." Philia expanded upon her response to Zelos, as she affixed her glasses back onto her face. "We do know that they tend to be around where certain fonons aggregate; Shadow, Gnome, and Efreet have jurisdiction over the first, second, and fifth fonons, respectively. I think if we headed towards Akzeriuth, the miner's town, we might find a clue as to where to undergo Gnome's Trial." She was guessing, but it was what she was asked to do.

Philia slightly blushed once more, but quickly focused on the topic at hand. "Yes, while it is true I'm worried about the Fon Master, I also know that your quest takes precedence. Plus, they're already deployed Dorian General Grants to search for him as well; I'm not all too worried about whether we're the first to find him or not." She nodded. "I'll put my trust in you and accompany you, Sir Wilder."

Once again, Zelos managed to make Philia feel ever slightly uncomfortable. However, Philia tried to take this in stride as the two departed the main Cathedral. "Do you know your way around Daath?" She asked, as an innocent question? Hopefully she could discourage his flirtatious behavior towards her, but she didn't want their journey to be nothing but silence, either. She knew that Zelos was form Baticul, so she was unsure of whether or not he veer visited Daath before.

Philia nodded. She already did a background check on Zelos, and knew about what happened to his father... he didn't seem to treat it as a big deal, but you could never tell with this sort of thing. Philia herself never had a father, so she couldn't empathize with him.

"I've lived here for a few years, myself. Laville Clemente took me in here so that I coud study; before that, I was an orphan at the Keterburg Bay Orphanage." She divulged a bit of herself. It felt a bit unfair that she knew so much about Zelos on paper that he didn't know anything about her. Then again, she thought maybe all he wanted to know, her looks, were already in front of him.

Philia simply smiled. "Sir Clemente visited the orphanage one day; apparently he was acquaintances with Atwight Oltorain, and he thought that I had the potential to work at Daath. That was several years ago, and I haven't regretted it since. Even if I was never adopted, I truly enjoy being able to research things at Daath as well as help those who truly need help."

It's true; Clemente was like a father to her, but she knew better than that since he never officially adopted her. But she was grateful for what he had given her, even if it wasn't what all orphans wanted. In any case, she received something much more, and she never looked back. "I imagine that having a family must be nice, though. There are, after all, several ways of showing that you care for someone. Not all of them may be accepted, but perhaps it's because there's a distance of hearts."

Philia simply nodded. It seemed to be a touchy subject for now, so she thought it would be best not to encourage further discussion on the matter. The two came to the outskirts of Daath, and Philia turned to Zelos. "In any case, Sir Wilder, it's nice to meet you; I'm sure that we'll get along during our journey." She tried to smile.
