Who: Zelos Wilder, Philia Felice
Where: Outside Daath Cathedral
When: After Tartarus Scene of Doomage
Warnings: None
Zelos walked out of the door to the Daath Cathedral, a slightly irritated expression slapped on top of his otherwise beautiful facial features. Just who did that Grand Maestro think he was? All Zelos had done was request for an aid to accompany him on his trials, but no. The only way he could get his aid was if he went to go look for the missing Fon Master. Did they even know where the Fon Master was?!
That old man always has to complicate things.
Zelos briefly glanced behind him, his previous frown shifting into a sly smile. Obviously, he had agreed to the Maestro’s terms. He would look for the Fon Master, no problem…. But he’d do it when he felt like it. His trials came first, after all. He found his usually spot, and leaned up against it. All Zelos has to do now was wait for his aid to show up.
She was apparently very knowledgeable. “The best possible aid in Daath”, the Maestro had said. Clearly, if anyone could help him do something he had limited information on, she could. It was apparently her idea to look for the Fon Master, too. Leave it to a priestess to freak out about everyone’s favorite little Fon Master. He sighed.
“Why does everything have to happen to the Great Zelos Wilder?”

I am Cantor Philia Felice; I will be accompanying you on your journey." She stated, and smiled as she tilted her head slightly in a cute manner. Folding her hands in front of her, she approached him.

He straightened up, flicked his hair back and stepped forward to meet her half way into the room. “No need to apologize my little priestess. It was no trouble waiting for someone as cute as yourself,” he flashed one of his stunningly beautiful smiles and continued, “Please no need for formalities, just call me Zelos.” He added a wink to finish off his introduction.

Date: 2008-12-23 02:55 am (UTC)“Yes, Mohs told me we had to look for the Fon Master,” he cleared his throat, “I assume he briefed you on my situation too, right?”
He had no idea where to start looking for the Fon Master but at the same time he had no idea where to start looking for these “Sword Dancers.” Hopefully, she could shed some light on their current situation.

Date: 2008-12-23 03:41 am (UTC)"I have a slight clue as to where we may find a lead for the first Sword Dancer." Philia expanded upon her response to Zelos, as she affixed her glasses back onto her face. "We do know that they tend to be around where certain fonons aggregate; Shadow, Gnome, and Efreet have jurisdiction over the first, second, and fifth fonons, respectively. I think if we headed towards Akzeriuth, the miner's town, we might find a clue as to where to undergo Gnome's Trial." She was guessing, but it was what she was asked to do.

Date: 2008-12-23 04:07 am (UTC)That solved one problem, then. Now, onto the other. She was probably worried about the Fon Master, he may as well address that situation.
“Akzeriuth is a good distance from here; we’ll most likely come across the Fon Master on the way,” Zelos added with a wink, “There is absolutely no reason to worry when Zelos Wilder is on the case.”

Date: 2008-12-23 05:18 am (UTC)I guess I could lay of the flirting, until she feels more comfortable around me.
Sure he was a flirt, but he wasn’t a jerk! Well, okay. He was a jerk, but in this situation he didn’t want his relationship with his new travelling partner to sour so soon. He should just respond to her question, casual conversation never hurt anyone.
“Not very well, actually. My Father had worked here in the Cathedral, the only time I ever saw him was when I came to visit, which I rarely did. This is my first time back in Daath since he…passed away.” Zelos put his hands behind his head and continued, “I know where the Inn is and where the item and weapon shops are.”
That’s all he needed to know, really.

Date: 2008-12-23 05:38 am (UTC)"I've lived here for a few years, myself. Laville Clemente took me in here so that I coud study; before that, I was an orphan at the Keterburg Bay Orphanage." She divulged a bit of herself. It felt a bit unfair that she knew so much about Zelos on paper that he didn't know anything about her. Then again, she thought maybe all he wanted to know, her looks, were already in front of him.

Date: 2008-12-23 06:09 am (UTC)He didn’t want Philia to see him upset, so he continued walking forward. He cleared his throat and changed the subject. “So, How did you meet this Laville Clemente?”

Date: 2008-12-23 06:21 am (UTC)It's true; Clemente was like a father to her, but she knew better than that since he never officially adopted her. But she was grateful for what he had given her, even if it wasn't what all orphans wanted. In any case, she received something much more, and she never looked back. "I imagine that having a family must be nice, though. There are, after all, several ways of showing that you care for someone. Not all of them may be accepted, but perhaps it's because there's a distance of hearts."

Although he didn’t know exactly what that had meant or why it had been included in the letter, he instantly thought that it had to have been bad. How could anyone think something like that could be written in good taste? He shook his head to clear his thoughts, turned to Philia and grinned widely. “I’m glad everything turned out well for you, though.”
