Who: Luke fon Fabre, Tear Grants (NPC), Jade Curtiss, Mieu, Ion, Anise Tatlin, Chester Barklight, Arche Klein, Natalia L.K. Lanvaldear, Guy Cecil, Arietta the Wild, Legretta the Quick, Balir Gardios, and I think that's everybody.

abyssianooc; basically, leave at least two days (every other day) for your posting, to give others a chance to check the log and respond. If people get skipped, that's fine as long as there aren't forty posts between their new post and their last post (unless their character just doesn't have anything to do). Since this is an important log, track it. LJ is wonderful for that feature. We'll see if this particular method works.
Edit: Also, don't feel bad if you lag behind a little bit; back-tagging is implemented, so that allows a certain degree of freedom.
The group was heading towards the exit; Luke personally couldn't wait, since this entire trip so far has been a living Hell compared to... anything, really. They managed to find their equipment, which Luke couldn't complain about, but time was definitely running out... Despite Luke's protests, Mieu was right there gripping his shoulder.
"Colonel, it appears that the God Generals aren't here." Tear commented, turning to Jade. "I was wondering why things have appeared so easily... how long will the command you put into the control system last, shutting the Tartarus down? Will it affect our exit strategy?"
"Gah, stop saying so many things at once!" Luke shouted. "It's giving me a headache!" Sure, he wanted to get out, but truthfully? Luke was useless at this sort of thing, being pampered his entire life. Not that his opinion was asked for, but he also hated feeling useless. "You know what, I don't need protection!" He pulled out his sword. "I'm going to fight right alongside you two!" he had to prove himself... if his hands were already bloodstained, more wouldn't make any difference.

Date: 2008-12-16 03:35 am (UTC)"This door is the only one that works during an emergency shutdown, that is why we went to it." He pushed his glasses up to the bridge of his nose. "Of course, the reason why it has been so easy is obvious. Either all the Oracle Knights were distracted by the explosion, or the vast majority are surrounding it. No matter what, we will have a fight on our hands."
He looked over at Luke. "I do hope you realize what it means to fight. Our enemies are human, if you don't kill them, they will kill you."
Then he looked over at Tear. "It would be best if you don't use your hymns. They will take too much time."
Having given the orders, he opened the door to the port hatch which would also lower a pathway for them to get to the ground. He had his spear ready and waiting for the fight he knew was coming.
((ooc: Okay, here's the scene order for now since I was asked to include it in this tag. [Legretta, Arietta], Balir, [Ion, Anise], [Guy, Chester, Arche, Natalia]. Anything in [] means that the order of the characters within doesn't matter. So for instance, next up is either Legretta or Arietta, their order doesn't matter, just that both of them go before Balir does. This is of course up to future changes as the scene unfolds. If you have any questions, feel free to IM or LJ message Joh or I.))

Date: 2008-12-16 08:31 am (UTC)That was a good thing too, since she had ended up trapped inside one of the inner rooms when the ship had shut down. If she'd been alone she probably would've still been there even now, but thankfully her friend had been there to help tear through the wall and escape.
The God-General nuzzled her cheek against the ligers neck affectionately; a way of saying thank you as the creature ran through an empty corridor with her on its back. The prisoners had escaped and since she didn't doubt that other Oracle Knights would take care of guarding the outside, she planned to come from behind and block any possible retreat.
One way or anything, she'd make sure they didn't get away this time.

Date: 2008-12-16 01:19 pm (UTC)She didn't see anyone, just yet, and being cautious as she could be, considering the situation, she signaled for an Oracle Knight to go up there and check to see if anyone was there. She had hoped that Balir would return with their main objective before they departed. That was certainly the main priority of this mission, the retrieval of the Fon Master. Once that was settled, they would head off, once they figured the functions on the Tartarus that had shut done. If they had to continue by foot, she wasn't complaining.
She held each of her Fonic Guns in each hand, prepared to stop them if they posed any threat. The passengers on the ship included Jade the Necromancer, he was definitely someone she did not expect to encounter, but for what reason was he involved with the Fon Master, and within this ship right now? He would be a tough opponent. She had to be calculative. The Majour narrowed her eyes and waited for the group to appear from the opening while the soldier made it all the way up to the opening.

Date: 2008-12-16 04:37 pm (UTC)Looking on the situation, he could see that something was amiss. Legretta was ready for combat even though it was not happening yet. The rear exit was opened, and from her posture, he could gather she hadn't done it. It seemed his men disobeying orders would be handy after all. The Fon Master's kidnappers would want him back, obviously, along with his Guardian.
Of course, Legretta needed to be aware that there were four civilians in the area that would likely pursue out of concern for the Fon Master's safety. If they concentrated only one the obvious threat, the civilians could cause a problem.
He considered for a moment how best to proceed. Since he had the Fon Master, he couldn't quite assist Legretta as easily with the escape of their prisoners. Leaving these two children in the hands of his men was a mistake he wasn't going to repeat. However, he couldn't have the Fon Master in his hands and fight easily, too much risk of injury for the one person who could not be hurt in this. No, he'd separate the two children this time.
He turned to his men. "Keep the Fon Master in your sight and stay here until I give a signal to come aboard. This time don't let him get away and keep an eye out for pursuit. Do not harm the civilians unless they attack first." Then to Anise he said. "And you, little Guardian, will come with me."
He took a hold of her none too gently and went over to Legretta with his sword ready in his right hand, his left hand being used to keep a hold of the young girl. He kept an eye on the exit Legretta was looking towards to be ready for anything while he reported to her. "The Fon Master is a distance away with my men awaiting my signal to come aboard. They are also keeping an eye out for pursuit from the four civilians in the area that the Fon Master enlisted aid from. Additional men to keep an eye on him would be useful; he has already attempted to escape."
Hopefully this would be over fast and they could get on with this mission. He was getting sick of all the attempts at escape the Fon Master was making.

Date: 2008-12-21 12:15 am (UTC)Well, Chester did, at least. He sorta mistook him for a girl.
In any case, Chester tried to make sure to keep out of visible sight, and looked over the ledge to get a feel for the situation. If they attacked from here, they could easily have the high ground and an advantage... and that should provide enough of a distraction to help the Fon Master... wait, what?
The hatch opened, and a redhead popped on out... could it be Luke? "Natala... is that?" He looked over to her.

Date: 2008-12-22 01:08 am (UTC)He glanced down again. There was at least that one God-General, most likely more. Plus the whole contingent of Oracle Knights. He could likely fend the Knights off, but if he came from this location, it would give away the position of the others. If he could just...
Guy looked at the landship, and realized that all of the activity was on one side. If he could circle around to the back side, and gain some altitude, he could jump down and surprise them, leaving the others to attack from range.
"You guys stay here, I'm gonna see if I can get myself in a better position, and see if I can get Ion away from those Oracle Knights, or get to Luke. Support me if you can, but try not to reveal your location." Guy paused a moment. "If I freeze again, don't worry about trying to avoid me."

Date: 2008-12-22 01:47 am (UTC)She glowered at him as he said those words to her, "hmph," she glared at him as her arm was being grabbed by the other. She was forced to move towards the Tartarus and further away from Ion, Dammit, if only she wasn't so easily caught by this man, and those civilians didn't get into the fight. Why did they have to get involved? Well, mainly because it was asked, but it could have been avoided. She knew Ion didn't like people being in trouble for his sake.
She was being forced forward even more, seeing the blond hair of the other God-General, and she definitely knew who that was right away, Legretta the Quick, she was being leaded towards another God-General, there was no way she would be able to do anything now. The Emergency Latch was opened, she wondered why. At a glimpse she saw the red hair of Luke's and almost brightened a bit, but she refrained herself from doing so. In the meantime, she had hoped the Colonel, Tear and Luke were safe.
She continued to be restrained by the male, but didn't try to escape, at least not yet. She wanted a good opportunity for it, and getting Ion back would be a good idea too if something happened in their favour. The girl didn't even know how many people were on their side and there was vast numbers of Oracle Knights, obviously reinforcing the area even more. It was harder to make any move at all. She would have to stay put for now.

Date: 2008-12-23 02:02 am (UTC)Guy explained his plan to them, and she looked to him, raising an eyebrow. Obviously, she thought he was crazy.
"If you freeze again?" She asked, her tone displaying the same thing her expression did. Yep.
"If there's even a chance of that, why're you going in alone? I mean, we can only back you up so much without giving away our position. Hell, it's risky even attacking from here in the first place!" She hissed, barely audible.
( ooc: sorry it's lame. @_@; )

Date: 2008-12-23 02:36 pm (UTC)She was glad that they'd finally found him, there was no doubt about that, but the situation was far from over. There was at least one God-General, plus the Oracle Knights to deal with. Not to mention they now needed to find a way to rescue Luke in addition to Ion and his Guardian.
Guy had already thought up a course of action, although Natalia had to admit that her thoughts were along the same line as Arche's. It certainly didn't seem like a good idea for Guy to go alone given what had happened earlier, but there didn't seem to be many options for them to choose from. She and Chester were archers, which meant they worked better at a distance. And, while Arche's artes likely worked at both a range and close up, subtlety didn't seem to be the girls strong point...
"It'll be fine," she said quietly, turning to Arche. "We're better suited to attack from afar, and if our position is given away in the process, then so be it. That would mean less attention focused on Luke, Guy, and the Fon Master." That was what she hoped, anyway.
Turning back to Guy, the princess paused before saying a quick, "Be careful." Though she often teased and scolded him, that didn't mean she wanted to see him harmed in any way.

Date: 2008-12-24 01:58 am (UTC)Wielding her staff, Tear took on a less loud approach and simply swiped at enemies as well as utilizing a few strike artes; hopefully the preemptive strike would work to their advantage, since she knew that fonic artes and hymns wouldn't be wise in this situation.

Date: 2008-12-24 03:12 am (UTC)He couldn't quite see Ion, but did see some Oracle Knights in the distance and Anise was with the God-Generals themselves. Anise had arrived with the blond haired male God-General, so Ion was probably with the Oracle Knights standing farther away. A sensible move, it kept Ion away from potential danger, and he didn't expect the Order's most elite soldiers to be anything less than that.
Luke and Tear could probably handle that group if they were careful. Though they would be severely outnumbered, as long as the God-Generals were occupied, it might work. He could get Anise away from her captor and once they got Ion back, they could escape quickly to Kaitzur.
"Luke, Tear, go after the group of Oracle Knights in the distance." He told the other two so they knew the best targets to pick.
He got his spear ready and made his way to the two God-Generals. Though his target was the male one who had Anise, he definitely had to keep in mind that he had two strong enemies to deal with. He had no idea how either fought, could only see their weapons from this distance, one appeared to be a ranged fighter, the other had a sword. Neither was to be underestimated, they didn't gain their rank for nothing even if he hadn't seen them in action.
He just hoped this worked.

Date: 2008-12-24 10:34 am (UTC)The wild-bred girl clenched her teeth as she buried her face in her ligers fur. If the one guarding the cheagle had been injured or somehow simply let the smaller creature escape, it would've come back to her immediately. The fact that it hadn't could only mean...
"Get them." The words were little more than a growl, spoken only for the liger to hear. One of the humans, the Necromancer if she remembered correctly, was moving away but that still left the female and redheaded male. "I don't care who, just get them!"
Had Arietta not still been on the creatures back, the liger would've likely charged and pounced on one of them, using its claws and teeth to attack. As it was, the humans were armed with weapons and monster or no, the liger was smart enough to know better than to risk putting Arietta in that type of danger.
So, the creature relied on other forms of offense, and shot out a bolt of electricity.

Date: 2008-12-25 05:54 pm (UTC)"Civilians, huh?" she mused in a calm tone, "Yes, additional men would be a perfect idea. Do you know their battle style, or what they're capable of? If we are not certain with their strengths, The Fon Master will fall in their hands," she added simply with a those narrowed eyes. Attempted escape? She didn't know that the Fon Master was Capable of that. No, he wouldn't be able to do it without help, she was sure. The woman's lips parted again as she spoke, "Does it have something to do with the Guardian that you took with you?" she mused, pointing to the pig-tailed Fon Master Guardian in Pink.
She relied on her Oracle Knights to keep a good eye on the Fon Master for the time being, and sent a good few towards the direction that Balir has pointed to. She looked back at the hatch to see if anyone was coming their way. She was sure that they were coming out now, and they were. Her aquamarine hues stared at the group that approached, almost seeing Tear immediately among them. Well, she would spare the Commandant's sister, but she didn't guarantee she would escape without wounds. Legretta raised her guns as she saw the male with shoulder length brown hair and red eyes coming towards them.
He was not aiming for her, but she could see by the angle that the Necromancer was going for the Fon Master Guardian, who was with Balir. She raised her Fonic Guns and attempted to aim a few good shots at the Colonel, before deciding not to and focus on what the rest of them were doing. The replica was with Tear, she could see it.
She pointed her guns towards them as she saw Arietta as well. It seemed that she would be aiding Arietta in attending to the other two. They shouldn't be able to let them get to the Fon Master, as well she would have to check where the Civilians were. Most of her Oracle Knights were armed, prepared to strike as soon as the time called, good, at least they weren't all complete fools. She had to be careful, since she wasn't sure what the Malkuth Colonel was capable of, at least hopefully, Balir would be able to handle him.

Date: 2008-12-27 11:01 am (UTC)"The civilians all seemed to be ranged fighters. They were dealt with quickly enough by threatening the life of their close ranged fighter, however." Balir answered her question with a smirk that definitely implied he had no trouble with them. He debated for a second if he should warn Legretta that one of them would bear a close resemblance to him, but he doubted the woman would be fazed by that.
"And don't underestimate the Fon Master; though I doubt he can attack that many again."
He hated admitting his stupid men were taken down by such a boy and one who barely looked like he could hurt a fly, much less a dozen or more soldiers, but Legretta needed to know that he and the girl were devious and determined indeed.
There was no time to say much more, so he had to hope that Legretta's brains would figure out how to deal with this situation. He saw the three people exit and Legretta shoot at one of them then go towards the others.
If he had it right, his target was Jade the Necromancer. The man was a very skilled fonist, but that meant he probably wasn't as skilled in close combat. Odd, he didn't seem to be preparing a fonic arte. Now this just might be interesting. He raised his sword, ready to meet his target who he was sure would be surprised.
Of course, effectively dealing with the Necromancer and keeping a hold on the Fon Master Guardian would be tricky. Balir was definitely not known for his immense skills in combat, he knew that he was probably not the most skilled of the God-Generals. His advantage lay in the fact that his weapon of choice was so strange that it tended to confuse or incapacitate most victims of it fast. His cousin had been a prime example of that, though it could have also been his words that accomplished much of that reaction.
He held his sword only in his right hand, using his left to keep a hold of the guardian. Though he honestly didn't mind if she escaped in the process here, she couldn't do so quite yet. He had to at least make it appear that he wasn't going to give her up without a fight.
He went for his usual tactic of attempting to disarm his attacker. He knew very well that the average attacker would fend this off easily, but the Third Fonons would sting when that was done. That was his intent, to see just how strong the Necromancer truly was. He didn't doubt the man would be capable of still standing.
Jade did find it easy to deflect the God-General's sword with his spear. It wasn't all that skilled of an attempt considering what he had expected. Though with a God-General, it could be possible that he was attempting to confuse his enemy.
And then Jade knew what the reason behind that was. He was glad that his wasn't a swordsman the moment he felt the Third Fonons. As it was he almost dropped his spear. He had never encountered such a weapon before. Was it a creation of Dist's perhaps? No, Dist wouldn't create something that wasn't flashy.
But he couldn't take his eye off the God-General, or Anise either for that matter. The female God-Generals seemed to have picked Luke and Tear as their targets. He stepped backwards a bit and quickly thought of the best way to deal with this God-General and to get Anise away from the blonde haired man.
Balir smirked. Just as he expected, he still had an attacker, but he had confused the man. "So how do you like my sword, Necromancer?"
"Oh, I only found that it tickled a bit."
"And I'm sure this little Guardian won't find that it tickles. Why don't you surrender now, Necromancer? If you don't, I'll be glad to rid the world of such a nuisance." Balir said as he gripped the girl more closely with his left arm. He doubted the Necromancer cared about her personally, but he could get a better idea of her importance overall with a threat like this. He doubted Jade the Necromancer would risk so much to kidnap the Fon Master so randomly. There had to be a reason for it.

Date: 2008-12-30 05:10 am (UTC)"COLONEL!" she managed to chime happily, despite the fact that she was held as a hostage at the moment. She didn't really care. She could see the male coming towards them and Legretta attempting to stop the Colonel, but obviously he made it right towards the male God-General that held her captive. Maybe there was a good chance she'd be rescued now, and it was the Colonel, she trusted him enough, anyway.
She let out a small squeak when the God-General tugged her even more, forcing her to be a definite hostage this time, and he was deathly close to his form even more. What was he planning? She didn't know, but this was too close for comfort There was too much squishing here. She may be small, but this was not funny at all, and his grip started to hurt a bit more than she wanted it to. She managed to comment flatly to the other, knowing well he might not give a damn at all, "HEY watch it," she growled, almost hissing towards the other. Whether he heard it or not, she didn't really care. She just wanted to get away from the male and now.

Date: 2008-12-30 08:04 am (UTC)Guy paused, glancing up at the majesty that was the Tartarus. He'd love a chance to get to study it, having never had the chance to be near to a landship before, but that would have to come later, after Luke and the Fon Master were safe. Luckily for Guy, the ornamentation and hatches made the ship easy to scale, and he reached the deck rather quickly. Guy chuckled to himself softly. Van had always hated it when he climbed anything and everything he could, sure he'd fall and break his neck. Guy's stomach churned slightly at the sight of so many dead Malkuth soldiers. Malkuth though the ship may be, it definitely wasn't in their control anymore. Guy slipped across the empty deck, and surveyed the battle below him. A Malkuth soldier was fighting against the God-General claiming to be his cousin, with the Fon Master's guardian in custody, and a blonde woman and a pink-haired girl on a liger were going towards Luke and Tear. The Fon Master himself was a bit away, in the custody of some Oracle Knights.
If the Fon Master Guardian could free herself, she could help the Malkuth soldier (fairly high ranked, from what Guy could tell of his uniform), who appeared to be holding his own at least somewhat. Besides, Guy doubted he'd be able to face him anyway. The Fon Master, he could leave to Chester and the others, especially if they could manage to break the group apart.
This left Luke and the woman who had invaded the manor. He didn't know her capabilities (although, from what he'd seen against Van, she was no pushover), but he knew that Luke had no real experience. So he waited (glancing behind him for movement often) until he had a good opportunity, and then he'd reveal himself and join the fray.
[whee! Guy likes jumping down from high places!]

Chester continued to fire arrows without thinking much, purely attacking on instinct.

Date: 2009-01-06 02:53 am (UTC)Finally, he made his way to the outer rim, breaking through the guards... but he was still far away from the gorup of ranged attackers, which was probably a good thing. Date: 2009-01-06 11:59 pm (UTC)Of course, he couldn't let the God-Generals know this. The moment they realized Anise was important, she'd remain a hostage since she also had a use to ensure Ion's further compliance in whatever they needed him for.
Anise won't be pleased, but it was best to pretend that she wasn't of any importance and rather expendable. It appeared the blonde haired man was rather annoyed by her as it was and knowing she was of no use could mean he would give his annoyance up. Or maybe Anise would kick him in the shins and escape.
He shrugged his shoulders to the God-General. "Oh, do go right ahead if she's such a nuisance. We have no special need of her; I just don't wish to upset the Fon Master with her death. If you do kill her, could you be sure to inform her parents that she died in battle? I really don't particularly enjoy having to do such things."
The God-General didn't look too pleased at this response. "Then I do hope you enjoy the little nuisance."
Jade found Anise shoved at him and with quite a large amount of force. It was actually enough to take most anyone by surprised, especially because he hadn't been expecting her to be released so readily. Jade found himself most embarrassingly falling backwards with Anise on top of him.
He could hear laughter from the God-General. "Seems she keeps on finding herself on top of men, she's a bit young for that."
Jade tried to look up but couldn't get a very good view with Anise on top of him, he could barely see the God-General running towards the area he had guessed Ion was being held.
Not a bad technique there, use his hostage as a weapon to take out an enemy and back up those who needed assistance, it bought enough time to get into place. That along with the rather dangerous weapon that definitely left Jade's hands hurting a bit mean he would be a most dangerous foe in the future.
But at least Jade now had Anise and the letter back in his hands. Getting Ion back would be far more tricky.
((ooc: poor Anise, that's two men in how many days now? She's never going to live this down))

Date: 2009-01-07 05:30 am (UTC)Anise almost pouted at the words that The Colonel was saying, but she somehow knew there was a good reason for that. She didn’t make any comments but looked rather hurt and annoyed at the same time. Her parents wouldn’t be happy if she died so suddenly, and she knew that. They would believe anything, however, since her parents were quite naive to everything. Anise was going to make a comment, perhaps to make the act more believable, whether it was an act or not, she wasn’t sure, but she knew that Jade was one to say cruel things at times. She didn’t seem too hurt, but nonetheless, she was slightly hurt by it, and rather annoyed, but the next second didn’t really matter because she found herself being forced forward.
She was forced forward with a lot of force, colliding with the Colonel almost immediately after she was shoved towards him. She let out a small yelp before hitting the ground with the man, and a faint grunt on her side. Despite that, at least she didn’t collide with the dirt, but finding herself on top of someone yet again, Anise was quite embarrassed about, and she wouldn’t be able to live this down. First the blond, and now the Colonel, who was next? She wondered, really. She allowed the spinning of her head to calm down before she slowly rose from the awkward position, with a faint red flush across her face.
She rose up full to turn and glare at the blond that made that comment. For some reason, the blond sounded like some perverted old man to her for saying such things. She was bother embarrassed even more and pissed wit his words, “Way to go sound like an old geezer!” she snapped back with anger. She rolled away from the Colonel as she finished her retort to Balir and quickly standing up to dust herself off. She would follow after him, because she didn’t want Ion to be taken any further, and second off, she wanted to somehow, beat the crap out of this guy. She mentioned nothing about the collision or the awkward position, only turning towards the man and laughed a bit nervously.
Yes, she had an odd way of changing her emotions every now and then. Hopefully, when the Colonel got up, they would be able to go after Ion and get him back, no matter how tricky. AS long s the God Generals didn’t get away with Ion, they were good for now, at least for NOW.
OOC:Nope she won't and she's already really embarrassed about it. XDD but lmao xDD

Date: 2009-01-13 04:53 am (UTC)She noticed the people that had come out from the Tartarus, the Necromancer already at Balir's side fighting, and the woman did not look back to see his progress at all, because there was no need. She had to focus at keeping the others at bay. She would have to assist Balir soon, when he did go to get the Fon Master away from the Civilians that were far off back, like he said, prepared to take action. She was surprised to see Tear Grants, however, her eyes widening slightly at the appearance of the Fonist.
"Tear?" she mused in an almost calm manner, but her surprised face, soon replaced with he usual grim expression as she looked at them. It was clearly them that were her opponent at this point.
She fired about four shots at the sides of the Emergency Hatch, missing Tear and Luke purposely as a warning to them that they should not get their hopes up. Arietta was on the battlefield as well, assisting her in a way. If they kept them long enough, taming them would be no problem at all, and it would leave more hostages at their mercy, and the upper hand. The important part, was always, and still the Fon Master. AS long as they had him, it was a good enough game for now. She had to focus, however, seeing she knew nothing of the Replica that aided Tear in the fight, and she knew what Tear was capable of, seeing that she was trained under the Majour after all.
"I wouldn't make any hasty movements, if I were you," she added in a grim tone.

Date: 2009-01-13 05:52 am (UTC)Guy saw the shots fire, and knew that this person would be trouble. He launched himself from the deck of the Tartarus, flipping over and angling himself to land behind her, hoping to disarm her, at least.
At Legretta's position, it was hard to say, when she started to hear something from afar, but didn't pay much regards to it as much as she should have. She supposed it was the wind, though quite the contrary. The person came down, a male with the same face, almost exactly in appearance with Balir's, only younger landed onto the ground behind her, and the woman swiftly turned around to block the other when she heard the thump and the face that she saw when she turned her head to the sound. What a rough spot she was in. Hopefully, Arietta could handle the rest.
Guy had no wish to hurt these people, if they could avoid it, so he pulled his scabbard out, and slammed it against her hands, hoping to force her to drop her weapons.
Legretta didn't expect the pain to throb through her hands. The weapons vibrated a before the pain penetrated her hands, though it was enough to knock the weapons out of her hands, she didn't let it go, but it was unbearable at some point, so she dropped the weapons anyway. The majour then, attempted to get them from the ground, after the pain had subsided, hopefully swiftly enough to get the male away from her. She would have to result in her own hands and feet if that were the case.
Guy dived for her weapons as well, and managed to kick one of them away, but he knew he'd never reach the second one before she had it back and a bullet in his gut. He glanced back to make sure that Luke and the woman were fine, before turning his attention back to the woman he presumed was a God-General.
Legretta managed to grasp the other within her hand. The pain in her hands, after being inflicted pain upon, were quite numb to the feeling but she managed to get one of her weapons. How troublesome to have it taken away from her and now the other was far from her reach. She would have to deal with one of them for now. She quickly turned towards him, her body almost askew in an uncomfortable position as the gun was pointed straight at him. Her eyes faintly narrowed at the male's interruption . She should have been more careful.
Guy held his sheathed sword before him, ready to deflect the bullets, if he needed to. "Why don't you just back down, and take your soldiers with you?"
Was there time to cast a Fonic Arte, surely he'd be able to stop her before that, but of course, she wasn't one to completely give up. There was no way. If the mission failed, it would not be pleasing at all, at least on her end. So what happened with the other God Generals? It was irritating to be like this, she disliked it, but she would have to deal with it. Her lips parted faintly, before speaking. Why was he persistent in keeping her away? She didn't know this stranger, but surely he must be one of the civies.
"There is no need for that. You should be aware of your position," she mused. There were a good number of Oracle Knights still here, and on her signal, they would surround the male, without hesitation. It seemed they were already prepared to do that.
"Oh, I can see our position quite well. There may only be a few of us, but we're doing a darn good job of keeping you and your soldiers at bay. I think you should take this opportunity and leave. We just want our friends."

Date: 2009-01-14 05:32 am (UTC)He looked ahead to attempt to figure out where the civilians were. He knew they were attacking, they had already dealt with a few of his men already. He knew he couldn't go in close to them, all were ranged fighters and would probably take him down before he got near them.
Then he heard his cousin with Legretta. He was tempted to help her, but Ion was more important, and honestly Legretta had a great advantage with him if what he heard from the civilians was correct. Of course, knowing how she tended to attack, she wouldn't be able to use that unless she knew.
He yelled back to Legretta, hoping she'd take his hint and that it did work. "Try touching him!" then he started to prepare a fonic arte in hopes to draw out the others. That should regain them the advantage fast, if his cousin truly was that scared of women, a shame his friends were willing to share his weaknesses so readily. Right now though, he was limited to his first and second fonon artes, and second fonon would get much of a hit in on the one he really wanted to hit.
He made an educated guess as to where that obnoxious pink haired girl with the broom might be and aimed in that direction. "O twisted door of distortion, open wide! Negative Gate!"
Now he just had to see if his calculations were correct and he hit his target or at least one of those annoying civilians.

Date: 2009-01-19 06:11 am (UTC)Witnessing this, Chester could feel the heat rise in his body as he grew very angry; he could feel a burst of energy welling up in himself as his anger grew, and the adrenaline surged throughout his entire party.
"You're gonna pay for that, bastard."
Without warning, Chester drew from his quiver and repeatedly let loose as many artes as he could. First was Hell Pyre, then Ice Fang, then Wild Rain, and then Sonic Bash... all fo them, lightning quick chaining into each other heading straight toward Balir.
Yes, Chester was in Over Limit.

Date: 2009-01-19 10:19 am (UTC)His amusement didn't last long, however. A barrage of arrows came in his direction. He tried to deflect with his sword those that he couldn't immediately dodge, but he was overwhelmed by the sheer number.
One arrow hit him in the shoulder first, that didn't bother him too much, but it did make it harder for him, since it was his right shoulder and he needed that to use his sword. His timing was off and it was no surprise that he was hit again soon after on the hand.
That was not good at all. Out of reflex he dropped his sword, his hand no longer able to grip it. It grazed his leg slightly, but truly, that was far worse than Chester's attacks at this moment.
If any more arrows hit him at that point, he really couldn't feel it. True, he had made it so that he could even hold the sword, but the amount of third fonons that went into the hilt was far less than what was in the blade itself, that was enough to kill with a mere touch in most subjects. His body quickly went numb and he was no longer able to even stand.
If he lived through this, he would definitely have to do something about that. That was a far too embarrassing thing to have happen in the middle of a battle, only a new recruit would injure himself with his own weapon.
At least he was spared having to see the reactions of everyone, he lost consciousness soon after.

Date: 2009-01-19 10:30 am (UTC)Jade got up after being knocked over by Anise being hurled at him. That had definitely been a first to have a small girl used as a weapon against him.
Oh yes, she wouldn't live that down, but that would come after they got Ion out of danger. He looked and saw the blonde God-General was going to back those protecting Ion up. That wasn't good at all.
But he couldn't let that stop him. Ion couldn't be taken away by the Order. His mission was far too important. He headed in the same direction as the God-General and saw the man cast a fonic arte at those who were attacking from a distance. He had no idea who it could be, but their aid was very much appreciated, especially with how quick the arrows took down the man.
That was all they needed to regain the advantage. Those guarding Ion looked confused and concerned. It would make them easy targets, between those giving aid, Anise and himself, they may well be able to get Ion. If they moved, quickly that was, before one of the others could move to cover this area.
He was sure Anise saw what he did, and he didn't want to ruin the element of surprise they now had. Instead he attacked one of the distracted Oracle Knights.
Once they had Ion, they could escape then. They didn't need to be sticking around for reinforcements. Then he could ask questions about those who were aiding them, especially the younger blond attacking the female God-General. He definitely had some questions to ask that man.

Date: 2009-01-19 07:09 pm (UTC)Too many, they’d be outnumbered. It seemed there was no reason to take down these people, unless needed to if they interfered. She slowly rose from the ground and slowly edged towards him. Touching huh? She wondered what sort off thing would happen. She wasn’t one to get too close to her enemies, but she did this, because she trusted the God-General’s words. If it were true, it would be a good advantage on her side.

Date: 2009-01-19 07:11 pm (UTC)Whatever it took, she would brig back Ion, safe and sound, and there was no way she was going to let the God Generals make a fool of her again. Though her embarrassment would never be let down, EVER.
