Balir raised an eyebrow at the comment about being unable to do anything. Somehow, he doubted that. She had to have some skill or else she would have been assigned to a division rather than to the Fon Master.
Her threat was amusing, however, especially considering her current situation. Her show of strength in the face of danger was definitely an admirable trait for one so young. "You are very welcome to try to 'get me' as you put it. If you can escape from your current position, that is."
He'd have to keep a hold of this girl for now. It was obvious his men wouldn't be able to deal with her, with that mouth of hers, he wouldn't be surprised to see her try something dirty to escape, but he didn't doubt his ability to handle one small girl, especially once the Fon Master arrived.
But what was taking them so long? The ship was stopped, so Arietta had to have taken it. How hard was it to catch one young boy who wasn't even able to fight? He did remember that Arietta had been a Fon Master Guardian herself, maybe she'd taken it into her head to do something not mentioned in their orders.
"You three over there, go aboard and see what's taking Arietta's men so long to capture the Fon Master!" He said as he gestured with his free arm as best as he could to three of the soldiers. They ran away quickly to follow his orders. "The rest of you, find what happened to my pen when this girl landed on me. I'd like to finish my diagram before we leave."
And then to Anise he had one last thing to say. "By the way, don't think you're going to get off easy for ruining my diagram."
((ooc: I loled at the mention of Balir being a marriage prospect if he wasn't the enemy. Now I wonder at how she'll react when she meets Guy, poor Guy))
