[CHAPTER 03 - SCENE] if you're gone . . .

Who: Rhea Scarlet and Chester Barklight (Arche Klein, later)
Where: Daath
When: After Raven and Rhea's talk.
Warnings: OH SHIT IT'S AN ARCHE, GET IN THE TARTARUS.

She desperately wanted Chester to be here. It would make everyone's lives just so much easier, and she'd finally be able to rest in peace; the sooner, the better. Not only that, but ... the amount of strain on Arche's body from housing her spirit must have been intense. She didn't want to go much longer like this if she could help it, if only for her best friend's sake.

"I'm so sorry, Arche. I'll .. I 'll try to find him. Quickly. Chester will take care of you, I just know it. He loves you, after all, doesn't he? Or, he cares ... he might not admit it, but he does, really."

Anyone passing by her would think she was talking to herself. Even if Rhea knew Arche couldn't hear her, she maintained hope that somehow, her words would reach the girl who's spirit was being stifled beneath her own currently.

She knew she must have been hurting her. Even if Arche would never admit to it, she knew that the girl must have been in some amount of pain for helping her like this for so long. And knowing it was her fault ...

No, Rhea had to focus. She kept her eyes on the lookout. She didn't know whether to expect to find him here or not, but she maintained hope that maybe, just maybe, what Raven had said was true ...

It was all she had to go on.

And she wanted to act quickly.
