Where: Astor's mansion
When: The morning after Drinking Buddies
Warnings: Jade never tells the whole truth.

Guy: [walks over to Jade, holding his head] ...
Jade: [smiling as always] Need some coffee, Guy?
Guy: [glares] You spiked my drinks.
Jade: I did no such thing.
Guy: That was not iced tea...
Jade: You heard me order it and saw me not touch it, or are you saying I have the amazing ability to spike what I did not even touch?
Guy: I know you were responsible for it... [groans at headache]
Jade: It must be something else, but truly, would you like some coffee or water or something to help that headache?
Guy: [warily] Yeah...
Jade: [grabs a pot of coffee and pours some for him and Guy, he takes a healthy drink before handing Guy his] There, that should help.
Guy: [takes a sip, sighing]
Jade: Do you remember any of what you did last night?
Guy: [shakes head] Everything's fuzzy... I met you at the bar, and ordered an iced tea... And that's about as far as it goes.
Jade: A shame, it was quite an enlightening discussion about what we found at Choral Castle
Guy: [looks at him questioningly]
Jade: You don't believe me?
Guy: [rolls eyes] Remind me of what was discussed.
Jade: I was asking about the machines and if they had existed before Luke was found there or not.
Guy: [slightly warily] Anything else discussed?
Jade: Your skills in raising Luke.
Guy: [sighs]
Jade: I didn't say anything bad about your raising Luke, you did the best you could considering the circumstances.
Guy: [isn't completely convinced Jade's telling the truth, at least not all of it] Yeah...
Jade: But anyway, we don't need to rehash that conversation, is there anything else you might need before we leave?
Guy: Other than painkillers?
Jade: I do have some if you'd take them from me.
Guy: [debates, questioning why Jade is being helpful for once]
Guy: [holds out hand] Alright
Jade: [gives him some painkillers, just a normal amount] Though I doubt they will help much, a headache is more due to your body being dehydrated, but you passed out before I could get you to drink some water.
Guy: [eyes Jade warily] I didn't... say anything strange, did I?
Jade: Strange? Like what?
Guy: [isn't looking at Jade] Things that don't exactly make sense... Or stuff...
Jade: Considering your state, you actually made perfect sense.
Guy: And you're sure nothing was said other than Choral Castle and Luke...?
Jade: Nothing important that I could see.
Guy: Yeah, well... you might see the importance of things differently than me...
Jade: Oh of course, the topic of the God-General who looks like you must be important, you did change the topic rather fast.
Guy: [deer in headlights look] Wh-what about him...?
Jade: You changed the topic to Dist, how could I know?
Guy: S-so nothing was said...?
Jade: Nothing that seemed important as far as I could tell.
Guy: W-what about non-important things...?
Jade: Well, I did compare Dist to a stray puppy, a shame you forgot that.
Guy: [has too much of a headache to try to get information out of Jade right now] ...
Guy: When does the ferry leave?
Jade: About an hour, that should be enough time to get ready.
Guy: Any supplies we need?
Jade: I'll handle that, you shouldn't be going out with that headache of yours anyhow.
Guy: [grumbles that it's Jade's fault anyway]
Jade: And who knows, you could have a woman run into you...or someone else.
Jade: [shrugs]
Guy: [freezes more at the "someone else" than the woman part] ...
Jade: You do realize the God-Generals will want their data back, right? If you get attacked, you are hardly in the shape to defend yourself properly.
Guy: [sighs] Don't remind me...
Jade: So it is best if we stay as a group as much as possible until we are on the ferry.
Guy: Yeah...
Jade: If you want, you can rest until we leave. I can stop by again before we go.
Guy: ...Alright... Keep an eye on Luke for me...
Jade: Quite the chore you place on me.
Guy: Deal with it, I still say this is your fault in the first place.
Jade: I'm completely innocent of such accusations.
Guy: Yeah right...
