[Chapter 2 - Scene]
Who: Sync the Tempest, Asch the Bloody, Alice the Sadistic Loli ♥
Where: Heading from Daath to Daath Bay
When: Just post Choral Castle
Warnings: Impending fights?
Sync had never dreamed it would be possible to hate his cohorts more than he already did, but the thought of traveling with them -and without the mediating skills of the commandant- seemed more nauseating than usual. He didn't care for Alice and was not fond of Asch's brooding. Suffice to say, even a trip to the port with them was enough to make him sulk.
Not that he would admit he was sulking, of course.
It wasn't as though they could see his expression mercifully hidden under his mask anyway. He was not going to make conversation. Group travel was slow, and he refused to accept the already aggravating pace as an excuse for idle prattle. He did not and would not be friends with them. And he was staying out of any stupid conversations. Period.

Asch kept their pace brisk, and didn't really care if the others were following him. He was following orders, and if they got in his way, they'd pay the consequences.

"Why are we going faster?" She said to herself as Asch quickened his pace.
Usually Alice would say something to change the hostile mood. But all the
smallwalk is getting her tired.Who cares if they're both unhappy. She had to ask one of them...and she chosed Sync.
"Hey Sparky can I sit on you...?" Yep...She was that tired.
((OOC: Can you guess why I choose Sparky as Sync's nickname? XD))

The boy was caught off-guard by the question. "What? --No!! Fuck off!"
As if it wasn't bad enough that he lived his life as someone's tool. He wasn't going to be a chair, too. Sync shook his head. "If you're that much of a baby, you should have brought one of your Oracle Knight grunts to do your dirty work."
If not for slow, heavy Asch and whiny little Alice (wasn't she older than him?), he would have been at the port ages ago.

"Alice, get off of him. Sync, shut up. I got word from Largo, we're meeting him south of Baticul after he gets the Fon Master." Asch never looked at either of them, just kept on walking.
[ooc- I think that's what was decided in the God-Generals chat? That we'd have NPC!Largo get Ion in Baticul, and skip over actually playing the scene?]

Although Alice couldn't understand what's so wrong on sitting another God-General, she couldn't help but shook her head.
"You two are too serious...Wait." She paused for a second. "We have to walk more? Awww...Remind me to get a liger or something later."
((OOC: Oh, I just thought of "Sparky" because Sync's seiyuu voiced Pikachu."

Sync rolled his eyes. Did she have to act like this? "You and Arietta must be cosmic sisters or something," he grumbled. They walked in silence for a few moments longer. Alice's disturbing, cheerful mood seemed to be pervading the air, and he disliked it even more than the tension he usually shared with Asch.
"Stop trying to be cute. You're going to give me an ulcer or something."

She started to ignore the negative surrounding and got some boost of energy. With that boost of energy, she actually walked faster. "Now hurry up slow pokes!" Alice let out a chuckle. Boy, she sure knows how to push people's buttons.

"He probably kicks kittens."

Well, they'd meet up with Largo, and Asch doubted either Sync or Alice were stupid enough to goof off with him. Asch knew he wasn't the only one who had gotten plenty of bruises from the large God-General during training sessions. And if Largo had succeeded in getting the Fon Master... Well, Asch didn't not get along with the boy, he'd just stay closer to him than the other two.

"The port is not too faraway, I hope the cabins are comfy." If Alice was uncomfortable for where she'll be staying put, let's say hell will break lose.

"I think it's stupid having to travel in groups like this," he said. "If I were by myself, I would be there by now."
no subject
Asch could see the port, they'd be there soon... Well, provided he didn't decide to get rid of his companions. At least, he'd be there soon, regardless.
no subject
"Huh. Didn't take as long as I thought," Sync remarked. "At least we didn't lose even more time than we had to."
no subject
"Commander Asch! We have come with new orders for you!"
Asch glanced behind him at his companions, before looking back at them. "Yes?" he asked, the annoyance dripping from his voice.
"Asch and Sync of the God-Generals are to continue to Baticul, where they will retrieve the Fon Master. God-General Alice is to return to Daath immediately and report to Grand Maestro Mohs, he has received intel that he requires her to investigate."
Asch blinked. Wait, he was getting rid of Alice? That little annoyance was being reassigned? Maybe the Score -hadn't- forsaken him. He still had to put up with Sync, of course, but Sync hated him just as much, he'd be perfectly willing to stay as far away as the ferry would allow possible.
He nodded. "Very well. Sync and I shall continue on, and rendezvous with Largo." He waited for them to move to the side, then walked past them, not waiting for Sync, or seeing Alice's reaction.

All they had to do now was nab Ion and get back on track with Van's plans.
"Something seems to have finally worked out in our favor," Sync said, although still sounding less than enthusiastic. "Any ideas on how to reclaim the Fon Master?"
They were already outnumbered by the other group and couldn't risk a skirmish in public, so they'd likely have to rely on something besides a cover of chaos.
