Mieu: *floats over to Van* Mieu~~... You're Master Luke's Master, right?

Van: *chuckles softly* I am.

Mieu: *confused* So what does that make you for me? Master's Master?

Van: *pretends to consider it for a moment, stroking his goatee* I suppose so. I would be your Master twice over, wouldn't I be?

Mieu: Master's right! You really are cool, then!

Van: *simply continues to smile* I'm glad that you think of me so highly.

Mieu: Master talks about you a lot.

Van: Does he? *fakes surprise* What sort of things does he say?

Mieu: Master says that you respect him, and that you care about him.

Van: *laughs softly* I do. He is my favorite student after all.

Mieu: Master would be happy to hear that!

Van: Why don't you tell him that for me? I haven't had much chance to tell him myself lately, but I'd still like him to know.

Mieu: *nods fervently* I will!

Van: *smiles pleasantly* Good. You'll serve your Master well, won't you?

Mieu: *nodnod* Of course! Cheagles honor those who protect them!

Van: *nods* Your Master is very fortunate to have you.

Mieu: *beams*

Van: *pauses a moment, then reaches out to gently pat the cheagle on the head*

Mieu: *purr*

Van: *stops, then pulls his hand back* You're quite...cute.

Mieu: That's what Tear says!

Van: *glances a way* ...We should continue on. We can't keep the others waiting.

Mieu: Right!
