Battle erupted almost immediately, which didn't come as a surprise in the slightest. Guy was on Arietta in an instant, sword unsheathed, but the girl had an obvious advantage with the use of her powerful monster allies. If they could subdue Arietta and her companions quickly, it would probably be for the best, but if not... Ion would have to see how willing she was to listen to reason--and hope it works.
