Who: Reid Hershel, Chester Barklight, Arche Klein, Keele Zeibel
Where: Grand Chokmah
When: After Kaitzur scenes
Warnings: Keele is ruuuude (as Meredy would put it if she were to ever meet him in Melody)
Reid had been glad that Chester and Arche were so easy to locate, though he really did get lucky there, since the Score really hadn't said much on how to find them.
He wasn't even sure if he was right that Grand Chokmah was the place to go. True, it was probably the only town with lots of water, but maybe the clue meant another port, or even some island somewhere. And then from here, where to look?
Since they were in the area, he had thought that maybe finding a particular person might help. If he had remembered right, Keele had gone to Grand Chokmah to study some time ago. Though Keele was an annoying crybaby at the best of times, Reid had to admit, he had a brain and was more likely to figure this stuff out than any of the rest of them were. Even depending on the Score wasn't always the best of help, since sometimes the Scorer was vague at best which meant he needed to think about it, and well thinking hurt his brain.
And this was something Reid didn't want to screw up. He didn't want to follow in his father's footsteps. So he'd put up with the annoying crybaby. At the very least, he wouldn't feel so much like a third wheel around Arche and Chester with someone else around, even for a short time, and the Score had definitely advised him that he would need the help of friends to accomplish this.
"Hey, Chester, Arche, would you guys mind if we made a stop before we find the place to go next? There's someone else I want to find."
Of course Reid didn't want to admit that he was actually clueless about where in Grand Chokmah to actually go. It was better to do it this way and let Keele help him with the answer even if he had to deal with the annoying crybaby.
